Matthew Dorfman, age 8, took advantage of his time off from school to direct his first Zombie movie. His younger brother, Jacob, took part and was also instrumental in the movie's big success. Matthew used his father's Sony DSC-HX100V digital camera to film this modern classic. This movie was influenced by the video game "Call of Duty: World At War".

The Justice League: Doom
DC Comics newest direct to Blu-ray/DVD animated movie is another winner. The animation, sound and voice acting was excellent. They brought back some of the original voice actors. It's great to hear Kevin Conroy's voice as Batman again.
Batman almost indirectly causes the Justice League's demise but his determination leads his fellow Justice League buddies to a comback win.
The Justice League's Watchtower |
All that is missing is the soundtrack. DC Comics hasn't released any soundtracks lately with their movies. I wish they would offer the soundtrack with the blu-ray in one package for few bucks more.
Thor and Loki: Blood Brothers
Marvel Knights latest motion comic is superb in both animation and voice acting. They sure put a lot of effort into this one. It's slower moving than the others before as it's Shakespearean and you don't really see Thor much until the end.
Next up in the motion comic category is "The Astonishing X-Men: Dangerous which is due out in April of 2012. I'm looking forward to that.
You can now stream all of Marvel's previous motion comics on HD on Netflix.

Astonishing X-Men: Gifted - Motion Comic
I just viewed Astonishing X-Men: Gifted, the motion comic, on DVD. As the Iron Man: Extremis before that, I had already purchased and viewed this on iTunes but wanted it in DVD format to view it on my large Hi-Def TV. This was the first motion comic where the lips synched with the voices and the animation is quite good but not as good as Iron Man: Extremis. The artwork is very good, though, and the story is excellent. It left me wanting more. The extras on the DVD were good, too. Now I'm awaiting Spider-Woman: Agent of S.W.O.R.D.

Iron Man: Extremis Motion Comic
Although I purchased Iron Man: Extremis on iTunes a while back, I just purchased it on DVD so I could view it on my new HD television. This is the best motion comic yet although I also like Spider-Woman: Agent of Sword, too. I will be purchasing that on DVD when it becomes available.
The animation is top-notch. Remember it's different than a regular animated feature. Also the story is excellent along with the voice-acting.
To get a feel for this kind of entertainment, you can view Spider-Woman: Agent of Sword on Hulu for free.
